Tachoblog can report that WABCO Holdings Inc and Truck Race Team Allgäuer today announced continuation of their successful long-term partnership in the European Truck Racing Championship, the industry’s leading and most competitive truck racing contest worldwide.
WABCO has been supplying Team Allgäuer with state-of-the-art braking technology since 2001.
During the 2009 season, WABCO will provide former European Truck Champion Egon Allgäuer’s team with its new generation of single piston NG 22 MAX Air Disc Brake, featuring the industry’s most effective weight-to-performance ratio for heavy duty trucks. In addition, WABCO equips the team’s trucks with its full conventional braking system, including Tristop® Cylinders, one of the most reliable piston-type spring brake cylinders on the market.
